After working with, and for, many brands, Seven Twenty Films decided to create our own socially driven education brand. Zero-2-Hero is an educational project based in Curacao, endorsed by over 65 commercial brand internationally. The project is essentially a film/workshop experience targeting youth in the Caribbean Islands and in Holland. Focusing on troubled youth who are working towards a positive future, we present them as role models to an audience of a similar age. As a brand, Zero-2-Hero was twice endorsed by the Dutch Government and supported by international telephone and investment corporations and many other parties. This recognition led to Premieres in Amsterdam and Curacao of the film Artist Dream, for which a rap group wrote original songs. In addition, workshops with schools nd special projects -such as a road trip that took 3 boys through 7 countries, each representing their country in a road rally from Amsterdam to Senegal – have ensured that Zero-2-Hero is still inspiring the youth of today.
